Our Founder’s Story
After graduating from Stanford, I co-founded Fireclick in 2000, one of the first web analytics companies. That experience left me with a lasting conviction: measurement changes everything. At Fireclick, our team helped businesses move beyond guesswork by turning raw digital interactions into actionable insights. Companies like Amazon leveraged that clarity to move faster and redefine their industries, while others like JCPenney and Sears lagged behind. The difference was simple: those who had intelligence thrived, those who didn’t fell behind.
Over the next two decades, I built and led multiple technology companies. Most recently, our team worked in voice AI, serving global enterprises. For the last five years, AI has been our primary focus, and what struck us was how much this moment echoes the early days of digital: enormous potential, but also fragmentation, confusion, and risk. Employees were embracing AI tools, yet leaders had little visibility into what was actually happening. Productivity gains were unclear, governance was elusive, and most organizations were flying blind.
That was the wake-up call. Just as analytics became the foundation for digital transformation, enterprises now need AI intelligence to drive adoption and governance. That is why we built Olakai.
Backed by AI Fund and Andrew Ng, and rooted in Silicon Valley’s culture of innovation and discipline, Olakai is the Enterprise AI Intelligence Platform.
